Dear ISL Community,
The Year 6 students are continuing their secondary and primary research into their selected UN Sustainability Goals issue. The students are either creating surveys to share with the school community or interview questions in their issue to ask experts.
Students also watched and participated in a debate over Gender Equality in Zambia. The two participants, Ms. Georgina and Mr. Nkolola, shared opposing perspectives on how traditional family roles, religions and government affect gender discrimination and equality. The students were allowed to share their opinions and ask questions to both presenters to help further their understanding of this issue.
Students created a Research Rubric to assess the quality and content of their research notes.

It was such a priceless moment to share our experiences with the eager learners! Thanks for the opportunity.
